Manuel holds a M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from Universidad de Oviedo, where he specialized in computer vision for steel manufacturing quality assurance. He has dedicated more than a decade to software portfolio modernization, particularly at Hewlett-Packard, where he was the Solution Lead at the Caja España and BBVA Information Center mainframe to unix rehostings. His areas of interest are metaprogramming, parallel computing and deep learning, which he currently applies at BBVA AI Factory in a data science role.
