The Basque Center for Applied Mathematics – BCAM is an international research center in the field of Applied Mathematics that was founded in 2008 by the Basque Government, the UPV/EHU and Ikerbasque. BBVA Data & Analytics has signed a collaboration agreement with this institution for the launch of an industrial doctorate position in the field of machine learning.
The objective of the agreement signed by the two centers will be the development of a research project that will result in a doctoral thesis on machine learning techniques. Specifically, about generalized supervision for scenarios affected by noisy labels, semi-supervision, domain adaptation, and heterogeneous samples.
